calcium and carbohydrates. They were provided with guidelines to be followed for a healthy lifestyle and tips to keep diseases at bay. They were encouraged to bring healthy food to school and avoid junk food. Body Mass Index for the students was calculated and suggestions were given to the students according to their range. Students above the range were warned about the Cultivating good eating habits are very essential. Our school conducted a Health Awareness Programme in the school premises. The awareness programme was organized by school management to promote health and nutrition among students. As a growing body, the students need food rich in vitamins, minerals, perils of obesity. And those who fell below the range were told about ways to boost their health and prevent anorexia. The school distributed milk and fruits to all assembled and thus ended ahealthy session on ‘Food and Nutrition.
